• The first step is submitting an inquiry on the contact page. Within two business days, you’ll receive a response letting you know whether we are available for your event. If we are, it will include a link to a more detailed questionnaire for you to fill out, and a calendar link for you to connect with Lauren if you have any questions or prefer to go through the questionnaire together. Based on your responses to the questionnaire, we’ll discuss ideas and options together.

Once the scope of work is determined, Flowerhouse will provide a detailed quote, inspiration board, and a contract for you to sign, including instructions for paying a 30% deposit, to secure your date.

We’ll book a meeting (usually three months prior to the event, but this timeline is flexible for closer bookings or smaller events) to review and finalize all the details together, including discussing any additional ideas or inspiration, if applicable. The remaining balance is due thirty days prior to the event.

  • Flowerhouse is based in Seattle, and currently provides flowers for events within about 75 miles. If you’re not sure or you’re a little past that, please inquire and we’ll let you know!

  • Most cut flowers sold in the U.S. are imported from other countries. Flowerhouse uses flowers grown in Washington, Oregon, California, and B.C. to support local farmers and reduce our carbon footprint. This gives our designs a sense of place within the Pacific Northwest, and a sense of time with the seasonal availability of each flower. It also means we have access to delicate blooms that don’t ship well.

We use reusable, recyclable mechanics to support our designs, instead of floral foam, which is made of plastic and can’t be reused.

  • To get an accurate quote, please inquire, because there are so many variables to discuss. Costs are dependent flower quantity, type, the current flower market, the complexity of the work, the distance of the event, and more—each event is unique!
